Jay B's Interior Design is a dream venture for owner, Jewell Blair. Jewell is an Allied member of ASID. After 30 years in education as a teacher, consultant and administrator, Jewell returned to school to get a degree in Interior Design.  Jay B's Interior Design opened in 2005 offering a unique concept in design services to residential and commercial clients.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Jewell has also lived in Michigan and California before settling in Arizona.  Her design sense is a blend of Chicago style and sophistication with western influences in color and open space planning.  She is comfortable designing in a wide range of styles, as they all revolve around the use of the same design elements and principles.  Jewell insists upon creating personalized
spaces for each client. 

In addition to heading up her own business, Jewell has worked in retail design sales, including in-home consultations.  Her personality and style led to hosting design segments on the popular ABC Phoenix area morning show Sonoran Living Live.  Viewers may leave questions and suggestions for segments at askthedesigner@live.com.
